Acorn slippers are designed for comfort and made for apres-anything. Acorn founder David Quinn simply wanted to do something nice for his friends suffering through the grueling winters of Maine. Quin began hand-sewing leather soles on thick, cozy ragg wool socks and handing them out as gift. In the process he created an icon, The Original Slipper Sock. Although a lot has changed since then, our products continue to be inspired by the colors of fall in the Northeast. Small steps make a big difference. Acorn is concerned about the future of the earth. We are working to improve the sustainability of all aspects of our operations, including materials used for footwear, product packaging, print materials, manufacturing, and supply sourcing. It's our job to leave this planet better than we found it.
