The Fine Print:
How does Kenco’s price–match guarantee work?
Kenco tries to be as competitive as possible. Most of our products are priced at or below what the manufacture recommends selling them at. We understand that the best possible price is very important. Diligent shoppers can often find an item at a price that is lower or that is perceived as lower. We want your business so we will try and match any everyday price. If you find a lower price on a new identical item, just show us the lower price when you buy the item and we will match the price, or within 14 days of your Kenco purchase and we will give you the difference.
OK, There are a few conditions.
In most cases we Price–Match brick and mortar stores like us. It’s difficult for us to match a dot com store. Working out of a warehouse they don’t pay high property and school taxes. They don’t have a staff to help customers, they don’t have to clean up after the day is done and they don’t have loss due to theft, just to name a few.
In most cases we price-match everything we sell. The item should be identical, including model number, color and size. I know it sounds crazy but sometimes the item will be less because it is last year’s color or the manufacturer made some change to the item made it go on sale. We have to match apples to apples.
In most cases all coupons and rebates are deducted from the price of the product when calculating a price match.
In most cases we cannot match event or other sale prices, it is difficult to compete with someone who is going out of business or out of season and selling their goods at 50% off to liquidate.
In most cases we can only price match to stores in the United States. We are often asked to match stores in Europe or Canada. Sometimes that’s where the product is made and sometimes there is a currency difference.
In most instances we match prices only when the other merchant has the goods in stock. It is real easy to advertise a price of an item that the store doesn’t actually carry or that the price hasn’t been updated since the last time they purchased the goods.
In most instances we match the price of the item including shipping. We offer free shipping on most orders over $49. If a store's price is less but they charge more for shipping then the two have to be combined. We will match the final price.
In the end it is all about service and selection with a very competitive price,
