The Gränsfors Small Carving Hatchet has the same head as the Gränsfors Small Hatchet but with a specially carved handle. The handle has been designed in consultation with woodworkers to give a better grip. Thanks to its light weight, the axe is excellent for carving small details. The Small Carving Hatchet comes as standard with a double-sided ground edge.

Ceramic Sharpening Stone Details: Our Best-Selling Axe Sharpening Stone is now new and improved ceramic! The Gransfors ceramic stone is composed of ceramic abrasives. The coarse grit is 180 grain to deal with rough damages. The fine side is 600 grit suitable for fine grinding and sharpening. Normally used with water, but can be used dry. Phased edges to prevent chipping. Each stone has a protective rubber casing.
