New Event! Hump Day Happy Hour Hikes with Cliff Goldstein
1st and 3rd Wednesdays 4:30pm Weather Permitting

Guided by Cliff Goldstein from Upstate Hiking (and Kenco Outfitters on Wednesdays), you'll meet at the store for any last minute supplies, snacks, bug spray, a bottle of water, blister prevention, etc., then head to the Onteora Lake trailhead to set out on a fun guided group hike. Upstate Hiking is extending a special rate for these guided hikes to our customers.
You'll depart from the Kenco parking lot at 5pm for a 5:15 start time on the hike, and Cliff will hang out at the picnic area to kick back and chat over some chilled-down beverages from Athletic Brewing afterward.

Cliff is a licensed trail guide specializing in hiking and camping in the Catskills, Hudson Valley, and Shawangunk Mountains. Raised in San Francisco, he engaged in outdoor activities from a young age and has been involved in outdoor education since high school. Cliff's love for adventure has led him on extensive hikes and climbs across the Western US and Latin America, including New Zealand, South Africa, and Patagonia, while his years as a digital nomad enabled him to live extensively in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Costa Rica, enhancing his fluency in Spanish. Currently, Cliff resides with his wife Dani and their goldendoodle Pancho near the Shawangunk Mountains in Rosendale, NY. When he's not guiding hikes, you can find him playing pickleball, kayaking with Pancho, or helping fellow outdoor enthusiasts at Kenco Outfitters in Kingston. |
